Such an adorable kiddo! I hope he’s bounced (or bouncing) back from surgery already. He seems like an amazing kid, just like his parents!

Good luck to Julian! I hope surgery goes as easy as possible. Also, I’m sure you know that kids that walk early end up even thinner, because they burn so much energy… so don’t get worried if he becomes thin and packed with muscle. He is so adorable, the ‘walking’ video is just fantastic.

On needing mom less and comfort: one of the beautiful things that I have learned on this parenthood journey is that just when you think your child will need you less or that you can comfort them less, they change and grow and need you just as much, only in a different way. So, as quickly as the bittersweet hits us, the need and the comfort returns. I love that part of parenthood so much.
